To install the game you already have, you first need to decompress the compressed archive that you've dowloaded. To do this, execute a command in a shell (console) program in the same directory where the archive is located: [To change to a directory use (in a shell): cd /dir1/dir2/... Where dir1 and dir2 represent the path to your file]. The command you'll use once you're in the same directory as the file to be extracted to decompress is:
tar -xvf shredderclassic.tar.gz

Assuming that 'shredderclassic.tar.gz' is the archive you have downloaded, if it's not, just replace it with the name of the archive you downloaded. You should now find a folder that has the same name as the archive in the same directory. Change into that directory (yes, from a shell again) and execute the following command: ./ShredderClassic
This should install your game assuming that 'ShredderClassic' is the name of the shell script that installs the game. If it's not, look for a similar shell script in the new decompressed directory.

To run the game, in a shell execute the command: ShredderClassic (or whatever name it was given).

PS If you face problems installing (permission or access denied issues) before you install the game, execute in a shell the command: su
This will give you root access, install the game and exit the root shell to avoid tampering with your system or damaging it.

Good luck
