need quick help: drivers

well, im trying to get RH8 fully working, and the final step to booting xwindow is to find out what drivers my geforce 4 card uses. all i can use is the console for linux so i cant download anything

i am configuring XF86Config, the line i am changing is: driver = "vesa" (this is what it was, and xwindow wasnt excepting that)

i need to know what to put here in order to make it work, so i can boot xwindow. please help me ASAP i need to get linux booted very soon!

make the driver: "nv"

This is the generic Nvidia Drivers. This should work fine. Then I suggest you download and install the official Nvidia drivers (from their site), so you can get hardare acceleration and 3D. Make sure you read the Readme, and search the forums, theres been 1000 threads on it, if you need help.
