Need infos about p2p software.

Hello!

I would like to install some software that connects to Aires network of Windows and i read that giFT daemon with a UI does what i want with a plugin called giFT Aires. However, i did not find much tutorials to install this app and all i found is older than 2005!

I would like to know if somebody has more info about this app. Is he dead?

How can i install him in Debian Wheezy?

I can't seem to find anything that states whether or not the project is active. Have you tried contacting the software developers through their profile pages on Sourceforge, regarding the status of the project?
