Question Need information on dual boot Win98/Linux

I have a problem. I had some problems with a windows program and i had to reinstall Windows 98 on my system. Now when i boot it goes right to Windows. I need to reconfig my system so i can have dual boot.. Windows 98 or Red Hat Linux 7.1. My system after installing Redhat came up so i had the option. Now i need to know how to fix this. I am a new user with Linux and need to know step by step on how to fix it. I don't want to have to reinstall Linux. Is this some thing i have to change in my autoexec.bat file?
Here is what my autoexec.bat file is now. I hope someone can help me.

SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T4

You need to boot your system using the boot disks that hopefully you created at install time, then just run
Code:
lilo
to reinstall LILO to your MBR.

Whats happened is Windows has overwritten your master boot record (MBR) and in the process kill LILO which is what used to give you the dual boot. By reinstalling it you'll get your dual boot back. All this happens way before your autoexec.bat is parsed so no need to play with that.

HTH

Jamie...

PS Just noticed this is crossed with http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...&threadid=4058 Its best to post a problem in only a single place...
