Need help with Xdialog
 

I'm writing a program in Xdialog. It seems to be coming pretty well, but there is one huge annoyance. This program's purpose is to download files, but I have not found a good way of letting the user know how far the download progress is (and the downloads are always different sizes). Is there a way to use the gauge or progress bar feature in Xdialog to do this?

I mean it's Bash programming, BTW
