i already had windows XP Pro on my Pc and then i saw kevins tips on KNopix and i wanted to see what it was all about so i followed waht he said to do about burning it to the CD and then you have an OS on CD and it boots from the cd so you have to go in to the boot menu witch is F12 at the sart up for me cause i have a DEL 4600c once your there then you pick boot from IDE CD ROM Device and it will then run Knopix OS... so i had alredy used it on my firends pc and saw the bb demo and wanted to show someone that demo really fast.. i loaded knopix up ran the demo and then logged off of knopix.. once you log off od knopix it will turn your pc off so i turned it back on thinking that it should just load windows again because i didnt channge the boot seqence i just had it boot form the CD ROM the one time but when i went to load windows XP PRO it came uup with the safe menu screen like the one youll get if you jsut turn the power off and dont shutdown windows... noow i have try every option on that menu and it will do the same thing no matter how i try to boot weather in safe mode of try to get to the command promp it will load to the windos boot screen where it says loading Windows xp Pro and the lil satus bar goes then when thats dont and it should come up with the welcome to window screen it will jsut reboot on me.. so you see i have not in stalled anouther OS i jsut use knopix of of the cd and i have had windows XP PRO way before i tryed useing knopic and never had a prob.. so im kinda lost... by the way i dont ahve the windows XP CD anymore... my god if anyone can hlep i would love it and would be greatly appriative!!!! thanks for your patince...

Punctuation is everything! Please edit your post to insert commas and full stops and capitals and turn that long sentence into paragraphs with sentences in them - it makes reding very much easier.

That said, is XP formatted as FAT32 or NTFS?

Sounds like XPee is caught in an endless loop...

See if you can start XPee in "Safe Mode"

I think you need to hit [F8] during the bootstrap process.

Alternatively, see about changing the boot order in the bios back to the hard drive first...
