need help with hp 2133 suse installation
i got my hp mini-note 2133 with vista from a local computer company but it was slow. i downgraded to win xp and hope to change to suse.
however, i am a beginner of linux. after i download the suse preload from hp official site and don't know how to begin. what should i do with the iso?? please help and don't get angry with me. just a beginner |
The first thing you need to do is burn the iso to a CD or DVD - not sure what the iso is that you downloaded. An iso is a CD/DVD image, so burning the iso file straight to the CD/DVD won't work by default in XP. If you're doing this on XP I suggest you install the following app and use it to burn the iso image...

it is those src.rpm files.
what should i do with it? i can't boot the disk with the image? is it need to use YaST and how to use it as i am using win XP |
Can you get me the link where you're downloading the files (iso?)?
