i guess it's commercial ware, and you need to contact Oracle for the download link.
I also thought iplanet was merged into a suite, or something. (if i remember correctly)

But.. why not Apache, or other alternatives?

Hi,

You can get it from here. You'll need an account if you don't already have one.
BTW the product is free to download, but you'll need a support contract, if you ever need support for it.

Regards

Because I just want to SP update not take down my whole website and reconfigure everything about it. Thats a huge undertaking that is not what I want to do. Nothing is wrong, I just want the SP update for iPlanet.

From Oracle's "Software Downloads"-site:

Customers:

If you already have a commercial license you should download your software from our E-Delivery site, which is specifically designed for customer fulfillment. For patches, see My Oracle Support.

For large downloads, or for functionality such as download resuming, the use of a download manager is highly recommended.

Sun product patches, updates and firmware are now available on My Oracle Support from the Patches and Updates tab. Information on accessing and using My Oracle Support can be found at the My Oracle Support Welcome Center for Oracle Sun Customers and Partners.

There is no SP13 for 6.1. The latest is iPlanet Web Server 6.1 Service Pack 9.
Besides you said iPlanet WebServer Enterprise Edition, that is version 4.1

yes there is:
Code:
/usr/local/iplanet/bin/https/bin/webservd -v
Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Sun ONE Web Server 6.1SP12 B01/19/2010 10:31
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/prod/sj...308.9?l=en#hic

@TobiSGD---> were you able to find a SP13 update there? I still cant...this is a free product and this is where I got SP12, however the only mention of SP13 is a Release Notes PDF. I am thinking it has not been released yet

Sorry to necro the thread, but does anyone have a working copy of the 4.1 version? I need it for research but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.
