Need Help Plzzzzzz

Ok. I am running Suse 8.1 with lilo. Yesterday, my system would halt or hang right after loading the cron daemon. My remedy to that was to back up important files, and then reinstall to that partition. What I also noticed was that when I did the system rescue and ran e2fsck, it would come up with about 10 files taht needed repair.

Today, after reinstalling, it was fine. Then I started to set things up again, including my inittab defautl of 2. Err, I set up my runlevel editor in Yast to load up nfs, samba, autofs, nmb in runlevel 2. Could that be it. Because other than that, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary that I could percieve as being a problem.

Please help me. This sucks really bad.
