Unhappy Need help on installing GCC.

Hello there.
I am a total newbie to linux, never used it before.
Installed it - Red Hat 9, this morning accually.

Well, my problem is that i need to install GCC (in order to install TCL, in order to install aMSN)

I have downloaded the GCC source and tried to compile it, but it wont compile (since i have no compiler)

So i began searching for people with the simular problem in forums like this, and there was alot of them.
Based on answers to those threads, i found out i am supposed to find a pre-compiled binary compiler to compile my GCC.
Well i cant find one, and do not know how to use it, if i do.

A pre-compiled binary?
Would that be like a graphical .exe-install, just like those who are used in Windows?

Anyway, the summary of this thread would be:
I need a exact url pointed at a download of a pre-compiled binary gcc, and info on how to use it.

Thanks for taking time to read all this, and sorry for my bad english.

If you're using Red Hat, there's an RPM available for all the developer packages. I don't know what it's called (I've never used Red Hat), but it's there.
