Need help interpreting short debug logs - Wine & Playonlinux

Trying to install PicPick 4.24 in Mint 18.1 64 bit. Older PP versions showed to run well in WineHQ's apps DB.

Wine 1.6.2, POL 4.2.10 installed. I resolved some debug issues by installing additional packages (e.g, Winbind & many depends, recommends).

It still crashes at startup (picpick UI never appears). The debug logs are now pretty short, but I can't interpret. Note: Picpick site says installer is 32 / 64 bit. Not sure if it has both, or just 64 bit compatible.

Based on some comments, I installed it as a 32 bit in both wine, POL.
Wine 64 bit & i386 are both shown as installed, so assume ? it's using 32 bit Wine when I choose "create a 32 bit Windows virtual installation." I've read a good bit in Wine / POL's manual, FAQs. Extremely involved, if apps "don't work the 1st time."

Any suggestions, based on remaining debug logs? Thanks.

Wine's last debug:

Code:
fixme:thread:GetThreadUILanguage : stub, returning default language. fixme:thread:GetThreadPreferredUILanguages 56, 0x32d678, (nil) 0x32d6a0 fixme:thread:GetThreadPreferredUILanguages 56, 0x32d678, (nil) 0x32d6a0 fixme:uxtheme:BufferedPaintInit Stub () fixme:wincodecs:PngDecoder_Block_GetCount 0x16e690,0x32fbb8: stub fixme:wincodecs:PngDecoder_Block_GetCount 0x171758,0x32f958: stub fixme:wincodecs:PngDecoder_Block_GetCount 0x1778a8,0x32f958: stub wine: Unhandled exception 0x0eedfade in thread 9 at address 0xffffffff:0x7b83936c (thread 0009), starting debugger... err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 948 bytes in thread 0009 eip 7bc753f1 esp 00230f7c stack 0x230000-0x231000-0x330000
Playonlinux's last debug. NOTE: bug for "SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found" was resolved by installing Winbind pkg:

Code:

i can see multiple reasons why this just wouldn't work on wine/linux.

also, there's plenty of native linux screenshot / image viewing / processing software.

why change to linux, then use windows software anyway.
