Need help installing Windows odbc driver in Wine

I am trying to get a program designed for Windows, that uses a MySQL ODBC driver, running in wine. The only problem is that I cannot get the MySQL ODBC driver installed in wine. I found a good resource at http://wiki.winehq.org/NativeOdbc but I am still having some issues. when I try to register the driver I get an error saying that ofbccp32.dll is not installed. Has anyone else had any luck running a native Windows ODBC driver under Wine?

Why not just run native MySQL?

Well I have tried that and when I bring up the BDE administrator it does not show the Linux driver in the drop down box. I install this application all the time on WinXP boxes and the MySQL connector shows up in the drop down box with no problem. If there is a way to register the Linux ODBC connector in the Windows registry so that it would show up in the BDE drop down box that would be great.

The first post I found about BDE administartor:

I guess that could be an alternative but when I signed up and tried to download the free version from their site and it kept timing out. I can't help but think this would work if I can just get the bde to see the connector. I can actually start the application and it will take me to the login page but when I try to login it cannot find the database because it is not configured in the database admin. Any other ideas.
