Need Help Installing MYSQL 4 on RH9??
 

Hey guys,
I need help installing MySQL4 on RedHat 9. I have already extracted the files and they are all ready to go, I just dont know how to configure them. Does anybody have time to get into my box and help me? If so IM me on AIM at RichMHow.. Thanks!

Are you still having problems with this Install.

If so I have several RPMS that will upgrade a Xxx Xxx 9 (Former RHL9) system to MySQL 4.0.16. These RPMS include MySQL and the dependency packages. Aka PHP, mod_mysql, and so forth.

I have RedHat Linux 7.3 and would like to upgrade MySQL to that version (4.0.15-standard)

will thoes files work

Very new to this so any help in installing them would be good as well
