Hello,
I am currently building my system with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10, and am running into a snag, here. I hope that someone has the time to point me in the right direction.
I am having some problems while attempting to install gnome-python-extras. I have looked around and cannot find anything on how to correct my issue. I am attempting to build gnome-python-extras from source, and inside the gnome-python-extras, it should build the following modules, which is included inside the source:
* egg.trayicon
* gtkhtml2
* egg.recent
* gtkmozembed
* gtkspell
* gdl
* gda
* gksu
* gksu.ui
When I run ./configure, the output I receive is the only module that is going to be built is the egg.trayicon module, and the remainder of the modules will not be built. Looking into the README file, it states that all modules should be autodetected, along with their headers. If configure runs into a snag, then you should examine the config.log file. So, I did this. Inside my config.log file I have a few messages which I do not quite understand.
"failed program was: confdefs.h " -This looks to have a few constant declarations from C or C++, unsure of which one, because I have never done programming in straight C, only C++.
Another message I get is...
"failed program was:
Quote:
program main
#ifndef __GNUC__
choke me
#endif
end
|
I also get a few errors stating that packages such as gtkmozembed is not found. Perhaps you should add the directory containing 'xulrunner-gtkmozembed.pc' to the pkg-config search path.
I think that this is my problem, but I am unsure of how to correct it. Can anybody tell me what I can do to resolve this issue?
Thank you for your time.
