Need help in configuring cable internet modem in SUSE 10.2

hi,

I have installed SUSE 10.2 recently in my desktop. I have also configured my onboard Intel Network card through YaST->Network Devices -> Network card. I have configured the IP,Subnetmask, default gateway and nameservers[primary and secondary DNS] as well.
But still I am unable to connect to the internet. It says "unable to resolve/find the website". Can any one help me with this??

My Hardware configuration:
Intel Pentium 4 Dual core
512MB DDR2 RAM
Intel D102 motherboard with onboard NIC card

Thanks,
Pradeep

what kind of cable modem is it? that's normally a good start. can you ping it? does it have some form of web interface you can try to connect to to prove local connectivity? can you ping your default gateway IP?
