Need help finding libpng-dev

So I'm trying to install MPlayer and the gui. The problem is I can't find libpng-dev anywhere on the internet. Anybody know where I can find it. I've searched Google, sourceforge, and libpng.org.

libpng-devel should be on your Red Hat distribution. If not you can download it from Red Hat.

Hi,

I have read a lot about this libpng-dev package that is needed to compile mplayer with a graphical user interface. But I didnt saw a solution.
Does anyone have one ??

And does anyone know how to install the DivX Codecs so that it is possible to watch Media-Files packed with DivX5.02 with the MPlayer ??
