Need help converting .ogg to a video format for youtube upload
My buddy asked me to convert the songs from his bands CD to a video format for upload to youtube. He owns the rights and therefore I have permission to do this.
Some searching and reading indicated that ffmulticonverter was what I should use to do the conversion. Mageia4 has this app and I converted the files to .flv which seems to be a common youtube format.
When I tried to upload the files to youtube, I got an error message saying the files contained audio and no video and were an unsupported format.
At this point, I don't know what to do so I'm politely requesting some help with this issue.
Have a nice day.

But do those files contain any video or not?

No video at all, they are from an audio CD, and that is part of the problem. I'll need to add some kind of video or slide show or something. Suggestions?

You can use mencoder or ffmpegon the command line:

The mencoder method has worked flawlessly for me the few times I've needed to convert *.ogg to another format.
