need help
 

I downloaded gaim; but I can only open it up in root...what gives

What distro?
What are the file permsission? ls -l
What error message?
Is it in the $PATH exicuted by users?

the distro is mandy 8.2 running fluxbox....I think it might be a path problem but I'm not 4 sure.
I don't c nothing wrong with the permissions and i don't get error messages. If I log in as root gaim shows up in the menu. When I'm logged as regular user it's not there, I have to go into shell and use /usr/bin/gaim

for making it appear on menu
