Need explanation of resolveip results

Hi! I'm running FC4 and I need some help interpretting results from the system command "resolveip." What do these different results mean in terms of how the domain name is functioning?

Code:
$ resolveip firstdomain.com
Broadcast
$
Code:
$ resolveip seconddomain.com
resolveip: Unable to find hostid for 'seconddomain.com': try again
$
Code:
$ resolveip thirddomain.com
resolveip: Unable to find hostid for 'thirddomain.com': host not found
$
Code:
$ resolveip fourthdomain.com
resolveip: Unable to find hostid for 'fourthdomain.com': no_data
$

Am I right in assuming the third result means that thirddomain.com isn't registered anymore?
