Hello,

is there any known way of creating a cross compiling toolchain that runs in a cygwin environment and creates i386-elf binaries which will run on Linux?

I urgently need help with this. No alternatives, I have no choice. I need a Cygwin env which creates i386-elf binaries. I know that it is possible, because we already have an older cygwin env, that does so. But its age is the reason why I urgently need to upgrade.

I hope there is somebody out here who can help me solve this problem. For weeks I tried to find something interesting using Google etc. But it seems nobody did this before...

Any kind of real help (that takes me at least one step closer to the solution) would be greatly appreciated.
