Need a VIDEO FRAME EDITING program.
I would like to open up a video in a program, then have the ability to use gimp or something else to edit any frame in that video before I save it/convert it. Please name the/a program which can do that. Thanks.

Some Linux video editors are: Kino, Cinelerra and Lives.

Maybe avidemux would suit you. You can browse the frames, and save any of them if you want to edit it in Gimp.

Thanks all. I know about all of those programs, but
Cinelerra, I think I might have figured out how to add and remove frames to edit. How do I save, then edit, then add back individual frames to a clip in avidemux?

I don't know if adding back is possible with avidemux…

I think Cinepaint is exactly what you are looking for:
http://www.cinepaint.org/ It's based on gimp, but specifically made to edit movies frame by frame. |
