Need a user friendly tool for users to change ldap userpassword
Dear friends,

We have implemented a new mail system scalix and have the user authentication set to use openldap. However with this, we have to abandone the possibility for use to change their password from scalix webmail.
The problem for us is that if the users wish to change their password, then they will have to go through admin and admin use phpldapadmin to change the password for them.
We want to scrape these burden and find a way for user to change their ldap password with user friendly method. Obviously phpldapadmin is not suitable because it looks complicated for non IT users.
We just need something which is very simple, all it has to do is to change the userpassword attribute in the openldap, the rest of the attributes are invisible to users.

Anyone would have any idea if there is such software around?
thanks for taking time helping,

Make a little cgi-script in perl using Net::LDAP

Have the user bind to the server with their credentials
from that script, and allow them to change the password
from the script. Shouldn't take too long to write.
