Need a suggestion for a lightweight powerpoint package
 

I really don't want a bloated program, does anyone know of a small package? Thanks.

a few questions: what do you mean by "powerpoint package"?? do you mean a slideshow program?? or do you mean a slideshow program that is compatible with Microsoft's PowerPoint?? do you need to create slideshows or just view them?? i take it that OpenOffice.org's Impress is what you would consider bloated, right??

I need to view them at the moment, but who knows, in the future I may need to create/modify. So it would be good if it's compatible with MS PowerPoint. Am not familiar with Impress, I just don't want something as bloated as MS PowerPoint. Tx.

okay, well maybe give Impress a spin then and let us know if it works for you... :)

BTW, i think i remember the PowerPoint Viewer could run under Wine...
