Need a program recommendation for synchronizing/cloning directories over network

Hi all,

Just wonder if anyone has had success / recommend any open source programs that would allow me to "clone" a.k.a. synchronize folder's and their contents between two pc's on a local network.

OMG I'm still stuck in my windows ways of thinking I need to d/l and install some 3rd party app. when linux is made by people with a passion and build stuff right in that they know is needed. Thank you.
