Hey all, I'm running Cacti on CentOS 6.6 and I just failed a yum update. I'm getting an error at the bottom of the screen with a note that the error is wrong. Here' the error:
Code:
Error: Package: nss-util-3.19.1-1.el6_6.x86_64 (updates)
Requires: nspr >= 4.10.8
Installed: nspr-4.10.6-1.el6_5.x86_64 (@anaconda-CentOS-201410241409.x86_64/6.6)
nspr = 4.10.6-1.el6_5
And here's the "note" that confuses me:
Code:
[root@Cacti jobee]# yum install nspr.x86_64
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security
Setting up Install Process
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
* base: repo.dimenoc.com
* epel: mirrors.cat.pdx.edu
* extras: mirrors.arsc.edu
* updates: mirror.cs.uwp.edu
Package nspr-4.10.6-1.el6_5.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
[root@Cacti jobee]#
I've been running this Cacti server for a while now.
So, I need an updated nspr even though the nspr I have is the most recent one? How do I get past this conundrum? I'm hesitant to go out and find a new nspr package because I've used outside packages in the past and it has chomped me on my posterior.
Thanks,
Joe B
