Need a good open source calendar, but not Sunbird.
 

Hello,
I need a good open source calendar program that's similar to Sunbird.
Sunbird is a good idea but it's full of bugs...


Does anybody know of any similar software like this?? I really really need something similar in nature to Sunbird.

Here are my very basic requirements...

1. Must be open source
2. Must have a Windows build (So that I can keep the calendar on a common file system and still use the calendar in different O/S's.
3. Must use a standard calendar format so that other apps can read it if necessary.

I was recently looking for the same thing and found nothing. Lacking the time to build my own (right now) I'm temporarily using Google Calendar (calendar.google.com). It exports to iCal, so it would be possible to move your data later.

In the near future (read: after this semester of classes) I'm going to build a Java calendaring app to meet *MY* needs.

The scary thing about those is that the government knows your routines and habits...
If they had an offline version then I'd probably do it. :)

Another thing... If I did know how to code I would do it. I just have a very basic knowledge of various languages but nothing at an advanced level.

Eh, I don't have that many secrets. At least not in my calendar.
