ndiswrapper won't use devid
hi, i'm trying to get ndiswrapper working with my d-link dwl-510, but when i type in the dev id, it keeps telling me its wrong. i'm typing "ndiswrapper -d 001a mrv8k51" in the konsole, but it keeps returning with the error "001A is not a valid device ID". i'm using vector linux SoHo edition 5.1.1.

hi, i found out that 001a is not the devid, but 0x3300 is. i tried using that number, but then it tells me "0x3300 is not a valid device ID"

Think you are looking for lspci -v and lspci -n from here

Just type lspci -v in terminal and note the first column such as 0000:00:0c.0 and then find out the PCI ID of the card that with 'lspci -n' corresponding to the first column of 'lspci' output.
Then just check the list
