Hi kurrput,

Can you post back his iwconfig outputs? Its almost always a WEP key problem so I'd be looking at the restricted/open mode and make sure you are using the right one. Also make sure the router is okay with the MAC address ie. no filtering.
Cheers
Chris

I've got the same card and I'm having trouble too. I am trying to setup ndiswrapper for a dell 1350 wireless nic on mandrake 10.2 beta.

I downloaded the ndiswrapper -1.1.tar.gz. I extracted it into a directory.

I went to dell web site and got the 1350's window's driver.

I did a "make install" as root.

Then I did a ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5a.inf

I don't see any errors on the screen on these steps.

Then I do a iwconfig I get the followind
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

sit0 no wireless extensions.

I have the /etc/ndiswrapper that ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5a.inf is supposed to make.

I can't figure out what to do or what I have done wrong.
The only thing I can think of is maybe I'm using the wrong version of ndiswrapper or something.
Anyone have any idea's ?

I got it figured out now. I can get the dell 1350 wireless nic to work with Mandrake 10.1 official.

I couldn't get it to work with 10.2 beta.

It still wasn't easy at all.

If anyone needs help I think I can help them install the dell 1350 wireless with Mandrake 10.1 official.

I could only get it to work on 10.1 OFFICIAL.
