NCTUNS-network simulator


hii.....
can anybody help me out this installation problem in NCTUNS-network simulator?? i hav almost completed d instructions 4 installation..but d exection of nctunsclient which is a shell script is creating a problem...it says d foll. lib files are missing.

"/usr/local/nctuns/bin/nctunsclient.bin: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.1' not found (required by /usr/local/nctuns/bin/nctunsclient.bin)
/usr/local/nctuns/bin/nctunsclient.bin: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.4' not found (required by /usr/local/nctuns/bin/nctunsclient.bin)"

i tried googling for these...but cudnt get any satisfialble answer...can nebody who has already workd wid this simulatot help me out plzz......

Hi

You need to install development libraries of those packages that are causing the problem...therefore gcc-devel, and glib-devel and so forth.

This should help the problem ( I am not sure what flavor of Linux you are using as you dont specify so I cant give you a link to the files you need )

I m currently using redhat enterprise version of linux.........

i m new 2 linux environment,so can u please send d link as to where i can find these files........n what exactly 2 do wid those files...

Hi

go and look at http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/ , you should be able to find the packages there.

But if you are connected to the internet just use yum to install packages...

therefore in the command line type

# yum update
# yum install (file-name)

This should install all files and dependencies

Hello
Sorry for bothering.

I am a M.S student and I am working on my thesis and it is about OBS networks.
I have reached to 3 goo ideas but i have problem in simulation.
I do not know in what software i can do simulation in OBS-ns ( I can
not find installation files on the internet), n-OBS , Matlab ( can i
use matlab for OBS?), NCTUns or ....

Pleaseeee Help me.
