nautilus, webdav and usernames with @

My web providor has given me access to webdav for file transfers. However if I add dav://user@carterfamily.ca:2077/ it just keeps prompting for the password. I think the server is looking for the username to be "user@carterfamily.ca" (ie dav://user@carterfamily.ca@carterfamily.ca:2077/ or something like that.)

Can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas? Does nautilus have a debug log so I can see that it's sending?
