Nautilus popping up on mount

I'm using Gnome 1.4 with Nautilus 1.0.6. Whenever I mount a new filesystem, Nautilus pops up and pisses me off. I know that I can diable this in Gnome 2, but I don't have it, and I'm not about to upgrade either.

Is there any way I can stop Nautilus from popping up without upgrading?
