Natron Won't Start

Adobe After Effects work-a-like software Natron doesn't run on my laptop.

At first I was wondering if my /tmp directory space was the problem, but I cleared off some space.

All that happens is the hard drive light flashes a bit, but there is no programme screen or anything that displays.

Typing 'Natron' at the command prompt displays this...

It could also be that I am running the NVidia Nouveau driver and it wants the NVidia driver. I don't know how to install that, and when I tried the last time I ended up with a blank screen and a blinking cursor.

SOLVED!

Running 'Natron2' from the GNOME applications menu does not work. I'm assuming it does not point to the correct executable.

However, so far, I solved the problem of the Natron not running by looking at the list of where it installed to...

Code:

/opt/Natron2/bin/Natron

and found Natron in one of the directories.

Right clicking on Run made the programme execute.

Now I can try this software out for a bit. Hope it works for me.
