napster MP3

i know napster has encrypted their MP3 files in some way, but now they are unplayable in linux (xmms). i know that if you burn all the napster-downloaded MP3 files to a music cd, and then rip them from the cd, it strips it of their encryption, but i dont want to have to do that just to listen to napster-downloaded mp3 files in xmms. does anyone know of a plugin for xmms or converter/exporter program for linux?
