nagiosgraph truncates perfdata.log

Hey there,
I've installed nagiosgrapher for nagios so far most things work.
The graphs are empty i am thinking that is because perfdata.log get truncated after it reaches 4.0k ( maybe a time basis).
I've tried to add
but gets truncated after reaching 4.0k, earlier i've tried to change the location of the perfdata.log file in nagiosgrapher-nagios.cfg and /etc/nagios3/nagios.cfg neither of them reflected the new location of the file and i've checked in the nagios.log. It looks like nagios is searching for perfdata.log in /usr/local/nagios/. So i think that for the same reason nagios is writing to the file insted of appending to file. I think there is a config file i am not aware of.
Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry for my poor english.
