After installation/reboot, I can't seem to get into the graphics mode. My screen blank out every 4 seconds or so (as if I am changing the display size).
The easiest is to boot into run level 3 (konsole login), become root, then run
redhat-config-xfree86
The utility tries to load your existing /etc/X11/XF86Config first, so if this is badly broken, it may have problems starting in the first place. In that case, delete that file and the configuration utility starts from a safe default.
