Mythtv woes - nvidia and EIP/EPG info

I am oh sooo close to getting my mythtv box up & running with a DVB-T card but have 2 problems to iron out first.

1) I cannot get the latest kernel (2.6.11-rc4 patched with latest bytesex patches) to work with any nvidia driver. I have had to downgrade to 2.6.9-rc3 and use the older bytesex patches - which I'm not too keen on. Are there patches to make them work together or has nvidia stopped supporting newer kernel releases??

2) I can't grab the EPG information that is apparently being transmitted by my Crytal Palace transmitter in the UK using tv_grab_dvb - I was also under the impression that version 0.17 of mythtv had this dvb grab built in. I have installed both the debian and the ubuntu packages but have not seen this option in mythtv-setup. Has this support just been omitted from the package - do I need to manually compile myth from source?

Hope you can help regards,
