MythTV on ubuntu 7.10

Hi guys

I've installed mythv and some of the modules thru synaptic package manager, but when attempting to configure it for first use I'm presented with the following error message

Code:
QSqlQuery::exec: database not open
QSqlQuery::exec: database not open
2008-03-22 14:27:22.942 DB Error (KickDatabase):
Query was:
SELECT NULL;
No error type from QSqlError? Strange...
2008-03-22 14:27:22.992 Unable to connect to database!
2008-03-22 14:27:22.993 Driver error was [1/1045]:
QMYSQL3: Unable to connect
Database error was:
Access denied for user 'mysql'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
I see that its having issues connecting to the database, but I have no idea what the login details are, where can I find config files to double check these?

Regards

Mythtv uses a default user name of 'mythtv' with a password 'mythtv' as the SQL user. I notice your post has the username 'mysql' and that may be right for your setup, but you should confirm it. I'm assuming you have completed the set up of the mythtv SQL database. To test the SQL connection, enter this command at a shell prompt: 'mysql -u mysql -p -h localhost'. You should be prompted to enter a password. If mysql accepts your credentials, you get a 'mysql>' prompt, enter 'quit' to exit the mysql shell. If you get an 'Access denied' error, then you either have a mysql user configuration problem, or you are not using the correct username and/or password.

Good luck.
