MythTV

When running the MythTV backend I get this message:

Starting up as the master server.
Probed: /dev/video0 - Television
Probed: /dev/video0 - Composite1
Error getting inputs for the capturecard. Perhaps you have
forgotten to bind video sources to your card's inputs?
ERROR: No channel sources defined in the database

Then when running mythTV frontend I am presented with only a blank screen. My tuner card works fine with xawtv, audio through my soundcard and all.

I don't like xawtv, and I can't get mythTV working, are there any other good tv viewers for linux?

I'm running RedHat 9

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Greg

Hi,
I'm faceing the same problem, I think.
I also get a blank screen when I start the frontend only the sound is playing. But I don't get error messages when is start the backend.
Also running Redhat 9. No compile errors the only thing is xmltv doesn't fill the database, so I use nxtvepg to export as xml and mythfilldatabase --file to put this into the DB. But I'm not shure I made it correct.

If anybody has idears to this problem please post it.

Thanx

Olli
