MySQL user accounts. How do I modify them?

I'm running MySQL on my RH8 box, and screwed up MySQL user accounts and passwords (since I don't know much about them), so that my applications are not able to access the DB.

I just wonder how I can edit MySQL user accounts and passwords. Is there a static file, or a tool to manage the accounts, or do I need to do everything after logging into the database?

I like webmin when it comes to stuff like this... it just makes life so much easier. phpMyAdmin may also be useful.

I will sometimes use the MySQL Control Center. Its a nice little gui that makes all those administrative tasks much easier all though when I use it I feel like I'm cheating because I really should get used to doing these types of things from a shell. What can I say...I get lazy sometimes.

You can check out the MySQL Control Center here.

I'm sure Webmin and MySQL CC are worth trying
