MySQL tables from 4.0 to 3.0

I have found lots of info on how to convert 3.X MySQL tables to 4.X, but does anyone know how to downgrade tables to a 3.X installation ( Fedora 2 )? I would rather do this for a small PHP site I have, then upgrade my Fedora install to MySQL 4.x.

Any suggestions?
