mysql rpm


i recently installed rh 7.3 on a server hoping to run moregroupware...well i have apache up with php...all i need now is the mysql...so i took a risk and downloaded the rpm (i NEVER use rpms, i always use source) and i used rpm -i...and it seems that it started the server and stopped it after install...so im in limbo..i dont kno how to start (or stop) mysqld...can someone please shed some light?

well, you could read the package infos, you should find all the mysql paths there!
