MySQL / Red Hat 9 ?

I need help finding a "related" manual for installing MySQL on my Linux server.

I tried the MySQL website, but it seems to be so hard to find anything related...

All the instructions I have found have been for some kind of command line, which I don't know anything about...

I thought it would be as simple as opening the package with RPM, but that doesn't seem to be it....what do I need to do? Anyone know where I can find help on this?

Also, where can I find information on how to install PHP? Again, the website itself is so un-helpful....anyone else know a way to do this?

Hi, thanks for the help...

But as it turns out, Red Hat does come with all three of these bundled up in their installation.

All I had to do was go to services, and activate the httpd, mysqld services. PHP is already active, as long as you have Apache active.

Thanks, though, for the help!
