Mysql installation

I'm trying to install mysql using rpm, I get the following errors
mysql-clent-4.0.13-0.i386.rpm: v3 DSA signature: nokey, ke id 5072e1fs

error: cannot get exdlusive lock on /var/lib/rpm/packages
error: cannot open Packages idenx using db3 operation not permitted (1).
error: cnnot open Packages database in /var/lib/rmp

What am I to do?

Sounds like you're not root. Use 'su' to become root, then retry.

Also, see if you have a mysql server already running, and if you do, kill it.
