MySQL database - mail label creation

I have a fully working moregroupware setup running on an ubuntu server with apache and php5 / MySQL.

I need to find an idiot-proof (that me I'm talking about!) way of either creating mail labels or extracting data into a file I can import into Word or Writer.

Ideally I want to do this across our intranet rather than on the server itself.

I'm not sure how to do this, or whether there are tools out there to do it simply. We use a mixture of linux pc's and XP pc's, so OpenOffice is available if deemed a good solution.

I am not a coder, nor am I confident at writing scripts in almost anything......

If the worst come to worst, and it's way easier to do it on the server, then I'll happily accept that advice.
