MySql benchmark suite download on fedora 14
What do I need to do in order to download and install the mysql benchmark suite in Fedora 14?
|
Depends -- there are step-by-step instructions at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/...enchmarks.html (that's for MySQL 5.0) and step-by-step instructions at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/...enchmarks.html (that's for MySQL 5.6). Your MySQL documentation would quite likely have similar step-by-step directions in Section 7, probably around 7.12.x.
Hope this helps some. |
I have documentation but need download
I have the documentation but I need the rpm for the benchmark suite on MySQL 5.1. Do you have any idea where I can get that?
|
You can get the MySQL Benchmark Tool at http://downloads.mysql.com/source/dbt2-0.37.50.tar.gz.
Note that this is a fname.tar.gz file (that is no RPM), you'll need to save the download file somewhere and Code:
tar xzf dbt2-0.37.50.tar.gz Best do this in a new directory you create just to be on the safe side; i.e., do not do it in your home directory. Hope this helps some. |
