MySQL & InnoDB

So - it looks like my installation of MySQL 3.23.58 is running fine, but it reports a FAILED during the boot log.

So I inspect the log and its reporting that the InnoDB path is not set. So I looked into this and it seems like a nice thing, but really - how important is it? Should I worry about it? Should I configure it and use it?
