Hi pelegk2!

Do you use this command?
Code:
rpm -Uhv file.rpm
This upgrades the package. "rpm -i" won't work

Weeelllll! First you need to upgrade the three packages rpm complains about. Then, you should be able to upgrade mysql. BTW, thanks for the forwarning. I've been thinking about upgrading mysql. Now I know what to expect.

I think you need all MySQL RPM's, the server wich you allready have, the client "mysql-client-{version}.i386.rpm" and the headers "mysql-devel-{version}.i386.rpm".
Put them all in a directory and
Code:
rpm -Uhv *.rpm
Because you are trying to upgrade only the server, but to use the server you have to upgrade the other packages too.
