My openSuSE 11.0 auto updater only partially works

My auto updater came on yesterday and informed me that I had 1 security update and 4 recommended updates ready for install. I chose to install all of the 5 packages. The security patch came first and it worked flawlessly. The recommended patches failed to load. Every time I kick the installer off it starts and then drops me offline. Then the icon in the task bar turns red and when I open it the message reads that I have 4 packages waiting to be installed do I want to continue? I have tried repeatedly to get this to work (days & days i've tried!) No luck. I want to continue but my installer doesn't want to! Maybe I can send that installer to Micro$oft, so they can install it on Vista and charge for it too....

If KDE 4.1 and banshee 1.2 worked, I would really like my box. I have given up on them for now though.

HELP if you can please!

SuSE 11 is very new. Not everything is going to work right. Rather than try the same thing over and over, report the problem to SuSE, and let them fix it. They would probably have it fixed by now, if they knew the problem existed. I have Suse 11 on one of my machines, and I haven't experienced this problem. Are you using dial-up Internet access?

If this forum is not for discussing problems then what is it for??

Thank you for taking a moment to reply. Yes, dial up is the only option out in the country where I choose to live. This may be the root of my problem. As I stated in my original post, most of the time auto update "works." Your point about turning in a bug report is well taken, however since this IS a forum where software problems are discussed and hopefully solved, I thought I would run it up the flagpole here and see if anyone salutes. What do you know. You did! Thanks again. I will indeed turn in a bugzilla report if I can't figure it out myself.
