If no, good luck!, if yes procede to read http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Linmodem-HOWTO.html from point 3 on and post the necessary info here which minimally is:
- the chipset type in full (better more than less info I'd say) and
- c:\windows\modem.log and
- the module you think may work with this chipset, as you found it at http://www.idir.net/~gromitkc/winmodem.html#drivers
