my harddisk is run out space ,what should i do .


when i reboot the linux , it gives me an error.
it is about my harddisk's space, i want to delete some software package in the safe mode.!

but whick directroy can i delete safetly !

i haven't installed any software of myself!

gonna need more info to help....what error message, which distro...how big is your harddrive...

error mesage is about the diskspace. it was caused by the short of diskspace.

You can try to boot from your distro rescue disk and tar.gz data in your home(s) directory and in root directory, you can also empty /tmp dir.

what distro are you using ?

you could delete the cache directory of the package manager
